My name is Ms. Melinda and I have spent more than 20 years working in licensed childcare facilities, gaining extensive experience in nurturing and educating young children.
My journey in education took a creative turn when I became an elementary music teacher for 5 years. Alongside that, I have been teaching private piano lessons for 15 years, helping students unlock their musical potential in a supportive and personalized environment. My passion for early childhood education brought me back to this field where I happily serve.
Beyond my professional life, I enjoy serving at my local church by playing the piano for worship services. It's incredibly fulfilling to use my musical talents to glorify God and to
encourage others to do the same. I believe that music has the power to inspire and bring people together, and I love being a part of that experience.
I'm happily married to an amazing man who has
been a constant source of support throughout my journey. Together, we've raised five wonderful children who are my pride and joy. Family is everything to me, and I strive to create a loving and nurturing environment at home, just as I do in my professional work and church community.
My life is driven by a passion for music, a commitment to helping others, and a deep faith in Jesus that guides
everything I do.
My philosophy is that children’s early learning experiences enrich and stimulate future development and growth. I understand every child’s need for a secure, loving and safe environment. I also believe in offering children an environment that includes many individual choices along with structure and academic growth. I believe that children thrive when they are in a positive, loving and nurturing environment. Here at Desert Rock Pre-school in Florence we offer a structured curriculum 3 hours a day Monday through Friday and all day childcare. My goal is to provide a safe, fun, interactive learning environment where the children can be creative and discover who God has intended them to be.
