Hello, my name is Lisa Rosette and I am the Director here at Desert Rock Pre-school and Childcare in Florence, AZ. I have been in the Early Childhood Education field for almost 35 yrs and I believe this is my God given talent.
I have owned and operated two of my own in-home childcare/pre-schools and I have had the pleasure of working in many fantastic centers throughout my career. I am currently working towards two degrees in Early Learning and Development. I currently have an Academic Certificate in Early Learning and Development with an emphasis in pre-school, 35 college course credits in Early Childhood Education and almost 140 hrs of training in Early Childhood Education and Child Development. I have experience working with children ages 6 weeks through early elementary ages.
My philosophy is that children’s early learning experiences enrich and stimulate future development and growth. I understand every child’s need for a secure, loving and safe environment. I also believe in offering children an environment that includes many individual choices along with structure and academic growth. I believe that children thrive when they are in a positive, loving and nurturing environment. Here at Desert Rock Pre-school in Florence we offer a structured curriculum 3 hours a day Monday through Friday and all day childcare. My goal is to provide a safe, fun, interactive learning environment where the children can be creative and discover who God has intended them to be.
